Members of parliamentary hearings, particularly, deem that in conditions of development of information society Ukraine requires the formation of a coherent state policy aimed at development of book-publishing in order to satisfy needs of citizens in their cultural, educational, scientific and intellectual development, provide security of national information space, competitiveness of Ukrainian books in both domestic and foreign markets by means of new publishing technologies and improvement of the content and quality of Ukrainian books.
